umm... yeah you might... but i live in a mini community with.... probably 8 houses in 3 square miles.. not to mention the nearest town has 500-800 ppl in it... not sure what it is atm... and sadly i'm about the only one outside of town with reliable high speed.. so i've got lots of ppl pwnt here  (due to the fact that verizon doesn't advertise thier evdo network around here, so everyone just gets satalite at 512 k up and down, which usually runs at about 200 down 90 up and with a ping of 800) |

wireless don't suck... wireless owns... and here is why...
without wireless... ppl in this area where i'm at, that live even 10 feet out of town would have no options for internet aside from dialup...
the ability to reach out to people that normally cannot get high speed is a wonderful wonderful thing, and wireless makes it possible... hopefully within the next few years we will see more and more improvements on it.

If companies such as Google and the like have their way, we will have wireless internet everywhere using the analog spectrum that will be vacated once we make the switch to digital. I am sure that is just the beginning in that train of thought. There are many companies that can only gain from having highspeed cheap or no cost internet pumped into every home in the world. There are a few number of IP in comparison to those companies and I am sure we will see them fight tooth and nail, but in the end internet will be pumped to the masses like TV with the availability of no cost solutions at higher speeds. True dat! Wireless rock your socks off!! |

lol whatever i dont trust wirelss much for like mouses, keyboards, or internet for that matter. im sure wireless internet is a bit slower than regular cable =P but wifi is good for laptops on the go ill agree with that
